jewelry care

Jewelry is one of our most intimate and expensive accessories.  Understanding how to handle and protect your precious jewels can make a world of difference in maintaining its beauty and keeping your inheritance assets shiny for generations to come.

How do we clean our jewelry?

The diamonds and gems can be cleaned in warm water with dish soap that we have at home without chemicals and a soft brush. First take a cup and pour warm water into it, mix the soap with the water.  Then put the jewels into the cup and wait for 5 to 10 minutes.  Then take the jewels out of the cup. Clean them well with a delicate brush to take out the remaining dirt.  Once you’ve done that, put the jewels in a soft cloth, dry them well, and here you have clean, shiny jewelry again.  It’s important to keep the jewelry clean at least once a month to maintain their beauty and perfect glare.

What not to do with the jewels and how to keep them?

It is especially important to avoid the contact of chemicals on your jewelry, which may damage or alter the color of precious metals such as silver, gold, and Platinum and may damage certain gems.  There are even materials that we use every day that can damage our jewelry like hair products for all kinds of creams and even perfume and other cosmetics that can contain different chemicals.  Therefore, it is better to remove them before any use of such a means to avoid contact that may harm and damage valuable jewelry.  We also recommend that when you remove your jewelry and keep it in storage, do not throw it in places where it can be scratched and damaged in exposed places to put it down and store it in a dedicated jewelry box that will keep it clean without a scratch or injury.
